Traditional construction, contemporary living

Designed as a 199 m² holiday home in Idre, Sweden, the house brings together traditional solid-log walls and contemporary architectural details. Intersecting pitched roofs, natural materials and large windows give the building its distinctive character.

The main living area features a double-height ceiling and extensive glazing, bringing daylight into the interior and opening views towards the landscape.

Designed for comfort

The layout balances spacious communal areas with more private rooms, creating a comfortable home for family gatherings and extended stays. The natural timber structure remains a defining feature throughout the design.
